Basic Qualifications*:

• Native English speaker; Chinese needed in some positions
• Bachelor degree or higher in any major
• Minimum of one to two year commitment overseas
• Servant heart for people
• Flexibility and team spirit

Annual Fees:

$1,000 for singles and $1,800 for couples to cover cost of retreats and pastoral visits

Outgoing Cost:

Up to $2500.  Includes:

• Airfare to China
• Visa and Passport
• Medical and Psychological Evaluation
• Innoculations
• Prayer Letters

Raising Support:

We encourage you to raise some support to help pay for outgoing costs.  This will allow family and friends to invest in you and partner with you in a concrete way.  Your salary should be adequate for overseas living and, if you budget well and live frugally, you can even put some money away or pay down some school debt. Nonetheless, we encourage you to raise a group of financial and spiritual supporters.  Being overseas means being on the frontlines for Kingdom work, so sometimes even everyday life can feel like a battle.  Your supporters can be an important source of prayer coverage and encouragement to you, especially in times of trials.  At the same time, you can also be a blessing to them as they see how God uses you in answer to their prayers.
